Win-Win

Recently, I was driving down the road, and I saw the following imprinted on a trailer: “win win.”
Immediately, I knew the Lord was speaking about how this is the winning season; that it’s a win after win and there is a win-win for all parties involved in the new endeavors for His children.

But I felt some of you see this and think to yourself, “I have only experienced loss after loss after loss after loss.” Asking, “Where is the win?”
Trust me, I get it. I truly do. Also, in that same week, in a journal I wrote about how trusting the Lord with all your heart and not leaning on your own understanding is excruciatingly hard.

The truth is Jesus is the victor. Losing is not even part of his vocabulary, only winning. He died to give us victory. The Word also says, “for the LORD your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.” Deuteronomy 20:4 ESV

If there has been loss after loss after loss, one it is only by sight and our understanding that we experience and know this loss, the truth is Jesus does not see a loss, to Him, it is a set up for something greater and better, the ultimate victory. 

I am also reminded of David’s battles. David always sought the Lord asking if he should even pursue. I sense to urge you, no matter what, SEEK THE LORD in all you do in this new season.

My encouragement to you today is this, you are meant to have win after win after win, but if you are experiencing loss after loss after loss whether it is that endeavor, that pursuit, that battle, that thing you have gone after by your own will, your own understanding, and your own flesh, and not necessarily because God said,

He is waiting for you to ask. 

Be strong and courageous; Letting go of your own will is hard, letting go of your understanding and what you think should happen will be hard, but God has win-win situations and lifestyle for you. Be of good courage in this world you will encounter suffering, trials, tribulation and losses, but He has conquered the world.

Seek His face, seek his counsel and seek His will for your life then everything else will be added. Its time to enter into your win-win season.
